Verb Conjugator Service

Returns the conjugated forms of the specified verb

Usage

• https://api.verbix.com/conjugator/json/<apikey>/<version>/<langid>/<verb>

Parameters

• <apikey> //API key that identifies the service user

• <version> API version: v1, v2, or default
• <langid> 3-character language code
• <verb> a conjugated verb form

Result

The result is a json object containing the verb conjugations. The following attributes are in the root level of the returned object:

• langid Verbix language identifier
• verb The verb
• exists 1 = verb exists in verbix database, 0 = verbix does not know the verb but might try to conjugate it anyway
• tenses Contains the tense objects, if Verbix was able to conjugate the verb

Tense object:

• name Name of the tense
• forms An array of form objects

Form object contains the conjugated forms of the verb:

• id Identifier of the person, if applicable. For instance, for indicative present id:1 means 1st person singular.
• person Pronoun used for the conjugated verb form, if applicable
• use 0 = regular, 1 = form with ortographical changes, 2 = irregular form, 3 = dialectal/archaic form, 4 = form not in use, hypothetical form
• form The conjugated form of the verb

API key information

The API key is used to identify the user of the service.
Because the services are free, the usage is limited to a certain daily quota.
